As I'm typing this it is now almost 2025. Whenever I leave home I look around and see that most folks have still not learned to mask to protect themselves and others from the ongoing COVID-19 pandemic.
If you're reading this and you have stopped taking precautions—please reconsider. There are many folks out there who cannot afford another SARS-CoV-2 infection. Most scientific studies suggest none of us can (yes, even if you're healthy and able bodied).
Disabled and immunocompromised people aren't able to participate fully in our society because of people's denial and minimization of the pandemic. By not taking any precautions you are excluding others from being able to live fully and safely.
