Fanø is a small island off the west coast of Denmark. It's got a unique Danish character, probably because of all the little vacation houses (the Danes love their vacation houses), and the cute city center in the north. The landscape is mostly flat, but a little hilly in some parts... it looks like a mythical Tolkienesque land (think Hobbiton).
